Guest Lecturer at CSU Dominguez Hills

Mitch was the guest speaker in the class of Dr. Ginger Silvera at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Tuesday, March 12th.  The class was Politics 101, American Institutions, and Mitch spoke on the nonprofit (or social) sector of America.   The talk was entitled, “The Social Sector: An American Institution Under Fire.  He acquainted the students with the world of nonprofits as well as the challenges facing the social sector.  He also outline key policy issues facing the sector in the coming years.  For an excellent overview of the nonprofit sector and its challenges you can see the entire presentation on You Tube.  The link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOItrxDpSMA.  Mitch is featured in the second 45-minute segment of the show on DHTV.
