Kiwanis Guest Speaker

On April 10 and 11, Mitch will be the guest speaker at two different Kiwanis Club meetings in the greater Los Angeles area.  The topic of his presentation is “Who’s Minding the Future of Society.”  The presentation makes the case that society, as we know it in America, is largely defined by the nonprofit organizations in our communities.  Los Angeles has nearly 20,000 such organizations registered.  These organizations add to the quality of life in innumerable an often immeasurable ways.  The presentation then outlines emerging challenges that will face the nonprofit community in the future — challenges that could impact the continued existence of many nonprofit groups.  Mitch then outlines 5 things that community leaders and nonprofit board members can do to help their organizations identify and meet the challenges of the future.
